Welcome to the MotoFest 2024 Parade Lap registration page. With the tenth anniversary of the UK’s biggest and best urban motorsport and bikesport festival rapidly approaching, this year’s event is already shaping up to be a truly amazing celebration.

Mixing live music, theatre and delicious street food with dozens of exhibitors, an eclectic mix of car and motorcycle clubs, show ‘n’ shine displays and celebrity guests, plus an amazing collection of historic and contemporary cars and bikes, MotoFest Coventry 2024 will deliver an even bigger and better programme of attractions than ever before, expected to draw in excess of 250,000 visitors over the weekend.

MotoFest is also the UK’s only event to feature a closed road sprint course in the heart of a major city centre. Created from over a mile of the City’s Ring Road, this is licensed by Motorsport UK and run in accordance with the appropriate Motorsport UK Permit. This aligns with the UK governing body’s Demonstration & Parade Regulations, which are available to download below. Please refer to page 8 for further information.

In addition to a number specific requirements, the Motorsport UK Demonstration & Parade Regulations require all parade lap drivers:

To be in possession of, when signing on, the relevant Motorsport UK Competition Licence appropriate to the vehicle or if road going a full valid UK Driving Licence (DVLA) or equivalent from another country.

To sign on using the Motorsport UK standard declaration.

To be briefed that there is to be no overtaking unless a car is pulling off circuit and no ‘hanging back’ to create an excessive gap.

Passengers may be carried within the accommodation provided by the vehicle manufacturer and be appropriately secured.

Passengers under 18 must have the signed approval of their parent or guardian to participate in a track parade.

Passengers in Touring Cars, or Cabriolet/Sports Cars with the hood erected or hardtop fitted, must be 12 years or over and be at least 135cm in height. Passengers in Cabriolet/Sports Cars without the hood erected or hardtop fitted must be aged 16 years or over and be at least 135cm in height.

Unfortunately, due to safety requirements specified by Motorsport UK, open wheel single seater racing cars are excluded from entering the MotoFest Sprint Circuit.

If you’d like to join us on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 June, then simply complete the registration form provided below. Final Instructions will be shared with all registered parade lap drivers by email 7 days before the event.
