After an absence of over three years, MotoFest Coventry is back, bigger and better than ever, on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th June. Building on the success of 2019, everyone involved aims to ensure this is a spectacular event!
In 2018 and 2019, over 200,000 people visited Coventry during MotoFest weekends, creating a truly sensational atmosphere. Mixing live music, theatre and delicious street food with dozens of exhibitors, an eclectic mix of car and motorcycle clubs, show ‘n’ shine displays and celebrity guests, plus an amazing collection of historic and contemporary cars and bikes, MotoFest Coventry is the ultimate urban bikesport and motorsport festival. So, it’s one weekend that’s definitely not to be missed.
2023 will also welcome a return of the MotoFest Coventry Sprint, previously a sell-out event. This year BARC aims to provide at least one practice run and one competitive run during the first session on Saturday and Sunday, followed by two competitive runs to complete a second session later each day.
For anyone who hasn’t competed at MotoFest before, these will take place on the MotoFest Coventry Sprint Course, created from over a mile of the City’s Ring Road. Entry is open to an extensive range of vehicles and members of over forty invited clubs, with full details provided in the Supplementary Regulations.
Unfortunately, due to safety requirements specified by Motorsport UK, we’re sorry that open wheel single seater racing cars are excluded from entry.
Day one and day two of the MotoFest Coventry Sprint are also Rounds 10 and 11 of the 2023 BARC Connaught Speed Championship. We will also be welcoming competitors from the HRCR Moran Motorhomes Speed Series – Sprint & Hillclimb Championship, Sevenoaks & District Motor Club Insite Graphics Speed League and the Sevenoaks & District Motor Club Insite Graphics Speed League Historic Car Championship, making this a popular event on the 2023 speed calendar.
