Following two truly lean years, BARC Midlands is delighted to be back up to full speed. After a successful season opener at Cadwell Park in March, 2022 will see us continuing to lay the foundations of what will become our annual Landmark Sprint Calendar.
We’re on home Tarmac for the Spring Sprint in May, with August featuring a road trip to Norfolk for BARC Midlands’ first ever sprint on Snetterton’s 100 Circuit. This will run in parallel to a BARC race weekend on the Snetterton 200, including the legendary 2CV 24-Hours. September features the highlight of our season, with the welcome return of MotoFest Coventry bringing back superb sprinting action to the City’s streets. Then, as we move into Autumn, October’s traditional Grand Finale Sprint will draw our season to a close, provide what we hope will be an ideal opportunity to meet up and celebrate a truly fantastic year of motorsport.
Supplementary Regulations for all BARC Midlands events are currently being approved by Motorsport UK. As soon as permits are issued, these will be available to download here, along with printable entry forms. As always, you’ll be able to enter all BARC Midlands 2022 sprints online, providing the reassurance of an instant booking confirmation, plus the convenience of paying by debit or credit card.

GRAND FINALE SPRINT
Venue: Curborough Sprint Course
Date: Saturday 15 October 2022
Format: 100 Circuit
Entry Fee: £110
The final event on BARC Midlands 2022 Sprint Calendar sees a return to Staffordshire’s historic sprint course. Now benefitting from substantial investment by Shenstone & District Car Club, Curborough continues to be popular with both competitors and spectators alike. So, we’re hoping to see a fantastic turn out to end the first full season since 2019 on a high.
As the final round of many popular speed series, BARC Midlands looks forward to welcoming competitors from HRCR Moran Motorhomes Speed Series Hill Climb & Sprint Championship, Sevenoaks & District Motor Club Insite Graphics Speed League, Sevenoaks & District Motor Club Insite Graphics Speed League Historic Car Championship, the key.guru AEMC/ASEMC Speed Championship and our very own BARC Connaught Speed Championship. As this will be the very last opportunity for some competitors to gain critical points to secure their final Championship positions, there’s sure to be some truly spectacular performances.
The Grand Finale Sprint will be held on the Long Course, requiring a fine balance of speed and precise driving skills. And, whatever the outcome, we’re sure the day will provide some excellent sprinting, along with the chance to catch up with friends old and new.
With entry open to members of over forty invited clubs, BARC Midlands Grand Finale sprint is an excellent opportunity to enjoy a final day of competitive action before the New Year. So, book your place now for a fantastic finish to what we hope will be a superb season.
