BARC Midlands is delighted to confirm that the 2026 BARC Speed Championship calendar will deliver a choice from twenty-eight rounds.
This provides competitors with the opportunity to experience a diverse range of major motorsport circuits, popular sprint venues and prestige hillclimbs across the UK. As always, points accumulated from entry in any eight rounds* will continue to represent each driver’s final Championship score.
This season we’re pleased to be returning to Llandow and Mallory Park, and including Bristol Pegasus Motor Club’s Castle Combe Sprint for the very first time. As in 2025, BARC Midlands will host three Championship rounds at Cadwell Park and Snetterton ‘100’ Circuit, with our sister BARC Centres and other leading motorsport clubs delivering the remaining twenty-five rounds as detailed below.
Round 15 at Curborough Sprint Course on 27 June will feature the Figure-of-Eight, and the following day Round 16 will be a Double Lap.
Then, on Saturday 19 September, Round 25 will be held on Blyton Park’s Eastern Circuit and Round 26 will swap to Blyton Park’s Outer Circuit on the Sunday.
Throughout the season the BARC Midlands team will be staying in contact with all the relevant event organisers to ensure that our Championship competitors can be notified when each round is open for entries. This will include an update via the BARC Speed Championship WhatsApp Group, and a link from the calendar below to the associated entry page wherever possible.
We hope that established BARC Speed Championship competitors will be pleased with the choices made, and that the flexibility offered by the calendar in terms of dates and locations will encourage new competitors to join us.
* To qualify as a BARC Speed Championship competitor, this must include two sprint rounds and two hillclimb rounds. There is no longer a requirement to include one round organised by BARC Midlands Centre.
