2026 BARC Midlands Centre Sprints

During 2026, BARC Midlands will deliver three superb days of competitive action, starting the season with a return to Cadwell Park on Saturday 28 March. As the Centre’s Sprints have become established as regular features on the Motorsport Calendar, we’ve been delighted to see competitor numbers grow year-on-year. And this season is no exception, with attendance from a record number of Speed Championships already confirmed.

Cadwell Park will be followed by the Snetterton ‘100’ Sprint on 22 and 23 August, seeing the BARC Midlands team heading to Norfolk to deliver a double-header, running in parallel to the legendary 2CV 24-Hours. This is one week earlier than the traditional Bank Holiday Weekend slot, resulting from the 2CV Clubs new partnership with BRSCC.

The Snetterton ‘100’ Sprint is now open for entry below. As always, you can enter online, providing the reassurance of an instant email confirmation of your entry, plus the convenience of paying by debit or credit card. However, for those who prefer to pay by cheque or BACS, a printable booking form is also available.

2026 ENTRY FEES
As with almost everything, the cost of running our sprints continues to rise, from circuit hire and medical cover to recovery services and event fees. Last season we did our best to absorb as much of these additional costs as possible. However, BARC Midlands Centre is run by volunteers and doesn’t benefit from any support funding. So, to continue delivering high quality events without depleting our reserves further, unfortunately we’ve had to increase our entry fees again this season. We fully appreciate that finances are challenging for almost everyone. However, our ability to continue providing events is entirely dependent on the support of our competitors. We hope you’ll understand that as in 2025, this increase has been kept to an absolute minimum.

The first BARC Midlands event of the 2027 Season will see a return the picturesque Lincolnshire Wolds, this time for a double-header at the legendary Cadwell Park.

At just under 2 miles (3.15 kilometres), this circuit is both challenging and exhilerating, providing competitors with substantial track time compared to almost every other speed venue in the UK.

Next season, we hope that once again BARC Midlands Cadwell Park Sprint will be the first competitive round of many popular Speed Series, including our very own BARC Speed Championship. What’s more, with entry open to members of over forty invited clubs, this will be another excellent opportunity for almost every speed enthusiast to enjoy a day of truly competitive action.

Spectators will enjoy free entry to Cadwell Park during Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 March, and competitors will be welcome to stay overnight on Friday 20, Saturday 21 and Sunday 22. BARC Midlands is currently the only club to deliver speed events at MSV Circuits. After a fantastic weekend at Snetterton in 2025, the BARC Midlands team is already looking forward to hitting the road and heading to Norfolk.

The second and final opportunity of 2026 to experience sprinting at one of MSV’s truly outstanding venues, the Snetterton ‘100’ Sprint will provide two full days of competitive action. These will be held on 22 and 23 August, the weekend before its traditional August Bank Holiday slot. And, with fifteen popular championships already confirmed, including the BARC Speed Championship, we’re hoping this event will be even more popular than ever before.

The 2026 BARC Midlands Snetterton ‘100’ Sprint sees an exciting new collaboration between BARC Midlands and the BRSCC, a partnership we look forward to developing during subsequent seasons. During Saturday day the 200 Circuit will be hosting club racing action, followed by the legendary 2CV 24-Hours throughout Saturday night and into Sunday. We already know this combination of speed and racing competitors and their supporters creates a unique experience, and hope you’ll enjoy a great weekend competing with us and a truly vibrant atmosphere during both days. With capacity for competitors to stay overnight on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, plus easy access to an extensive range of local amenities, it delivers an excellent opportunity to enjoy a truly unforgettable weekend.
